It’s funny how life plays out ……….. this weekend I was
quoted in a big article in the Sunday
Times and suddenly I had a flurry of looks on my Linked In and the inevitable
connections and then I got a mass of followers on twitter – not the normal
mates or people you know or the hooker spammers but people how are in retail or
the edge or periphery of retail ……..
Then Monday morning comes and suddenly instead of my usual
comment about the weather – well let’s be honest the weather dictates my life
to a certain degree from what shoes – if it’s raining I’m now going to trot out
in say open toed pale suede high heels am I which will then mean change of shoes a rethink
on that days outfit ………….
So I usually start of my day with a weather tweet ……
but when suddenly you’re a retail know it all do you come out with some witty comment
revolving round a fact you heard on the 6am news or some fact from the business
section of the Telegraph?

for some kind of retail guru philosophy which will be like a huge pearl of
wisdom your following the wrong bird – I’m the kind who comments on the weather
if I think people are being dicks ………. Err yes I do think some folks are dicks
and I post silly pictures or talk about my daughter Alice ……..
I think there are enough folks who walk amongst us who think
they are retail guru’s so go follow them I’m just a geek and former shop girl
with a passion for shoes ………who knows she is a princess okay
